Updates to Florida Insurer Financial Reporting Rules Proposed

Date Published: 07-13-2017

Notices of two proposed Rules relating to Florida insurer reporting requirements and audited annual financial statements were published by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation yesterday, July 12, 2017.

A July 27, 2017 hearing in Tallahassee at 9:30 a.m. on both Rules has been tentatively scheduled should a member of the public request it.

Amendments to Rule 69O-207.001, F.A.C., entitled "Late Filed Reports - Fine Schedule" would update the amount of the fines accessed for the late filing of annual statements or reports of insurance administrators.
